Kelly Wolfe (Senior Care)
Kelly oversees Javelin’s senior care platform, including skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living services. Originally from Ennis, Texas, Kelly founded Medical Social Service Consulting in 1993 before becoming a nursing home administrator. For many years Kelly served as the Executive Director of Signature Pointe on the Lake, one of Dallas’s premier senior living campuses. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator.
Kelly volunteers for a variety of organizations: the Alzheimer’s Association, Scouts of America, Bonton Farms benefitting Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and The Dallas Foundation. He is also a guest lecturer at Tarrant County Community College and Southern Methodist University. Kelly enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, and yardwork. His wife Laura is a speech therapist with the Dallas Independent School District and they have two children. Their daughter Sara is a Licensed Master Social Worker working in Dallas hospice care and their son Jack is senior at the University of Texas at Austin. Kelly’s family recently adopted a goldendoodle puppy named Ralphie.
Alan Naul (Partner)
Alan founded Javelin in 2004. He handles the strategic direction of the company, from meeting with investors to evaluating potential development sites. Before founding Javelin, Alan served as the Managing Director for the Hampstead Group, a Dallas-based private equity firm, for fourteen years, where he managed real estate and corporate investments in the healthcare and hospitality sectors. He is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Alan is also a Director of the Atlantic Housing Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides affordable housing and educational opportunities to families across the country. Alan grew up in the DFW area and in his spare time, he enjoys skiing and spending time with his wife Michelle, his son and daughter Brett and Emily, and his granddog Bernie.
Kevin Eden (Partner)
Kevin has been with Javelin since 2006, and is responsible for underwriting, financial reporting, and operational analysis. He also works closely with Javelin’s lenders, operators, and investors. Prior to Javelin, Kevin served as a Director for The Patriot Group and the Director of Underwriting at ORIX Capital Markets. He earned his MBA from Texas A&M University and his BBA from Abilene Christian University. Kevin also received his CPA license in 1992.
In addition to his work at Javelin, Kevin is a Director of Texas Exchange Bank. He is also active within his community where he serves as a board member for two local not-for-profits, Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) and Mission Arlington. VNA helps seniors maintain independence at home through its Meals on Wheels program and hospice and palliative care services throughout north Texas. Mission Arlington is a faith-based not-for-profit that serves the needs of the underprivileged within the Arlington community. Kevin is married to Kimberly, a Fort Worth physician, and they have two children. Kevin enjoys spending time traveling with his family to beach and mountain destinations.
Adam Koll (Marketing)
Adam leads the company’s marketing team where his innovative approach fosters partnerships with community institutions and other service providers at the benefit of families. His background in ministry makes him a perfect advocate and family liaison. Before joining the team, Adam previously served as the Director of Young Adult & Campus Ministry at the Diocese of Corpus Christi, as the Administrator of Carrollton Health & Rehabilitation, and as the Director of Memory Care at Signature Pointe on the Lake. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and his Master of Divinity at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Adam is also a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator and a Certified Lay Catholic Chaplain.
Adam was born in Minnesota but spent most of his childhood in Waupaca, Wisconsin. He enjoys swimming, running, and biking. He regularly volunteers with VNA Meals on Wheels and the Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Adam and his wife Crystal have a pug named Wellington, and are ecstatic to have recently welcomed their newborn daughter Chloe into the world.
Melinda Rochetti (Therapy & Rehabilitation)
Melinda manages all aspects of the company’s therapy, rehabilitation and wellness business where her team delivers best in class outcomes for patients. Previously Melinda worked for HealthPro Heritage for eight years, serving as their Vice President of Quality Assurance and Compliance and as a Director of Rehabilitation. Melinda has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University. She has a variety of licenses and certifications, including Licensed Physical Therapist, RAC-CT® certification (the nationally recognized gold standard in resident assessment in long-term care nursing), and COS-C certification for clinical assessment in home health.
Melinda’s hometown is Belvidere, Illinois. She is married to Ricardo and they have a 4 year-old son, Giovani, and an 8 year-old daughter, Juliana. When she’s not working, Melinda enjoys spending time poolside with her family, wine tasting, and traveling. Ricardo is Brazilian, so they often enjoy Brazilian cuisine. Melinda is also a Chicago sports fan and roots for the Cubs and the Bears.
Courtney Ferguson Daggs (Human Resources)
Courtney oversees all aspects of human resources, including training, managing employee benefits, onboarding new employees and processing payroll. Prior to Javelin, her previous roles include working as Consultant Service Manager at Robert Half Management Resources and as Human Resource Recruiting Coordinator for Next Health. She is currently pursuing her Society of Human Resource Management Certification.
Courtney is originally from Dallas, Texas. In addition to her work, Courtney is a ministry volunteer and loves sharing the Bible with others, including inmates at the Dallas County jail where she conducts weekly Bible studies. Courtney has been married to her husband Steven for six years, and they parent a German shepherd named Hershey. Courtney and Steven share a passion for foreign languages and are currently learning the Amharic language with a plan to visit Ethiopia one day.
Alyssa Smith (Financial Services)
Alyssa supervises and administers the business office covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, data processing and records management, staffing, and procurement and touches many facets of the organization. Before joining us, Alyssa worked at Management Seven as the business office and human resource manager and as a corporate accounts receivable specialist. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University, and has obtained her Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator credentials.
Alyssa is from Tampa, Florida. She’s been together with Ryan for 10 years (married for 7), and they have a willfully independent 3 year-old son named Eli. Another member of their family is their 9 year-old Shih Tzu named Ellie Mae. In Alyssa’s spare time, she loves to cook, bake, and read, and she is also a volunteer for VNA, Meals on Wheels, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
David Zimmerman (Facilities)
David leads the Facility team where he is responsible for our physical plants and all building systems. Before joining Javelin, David was the Director of Plant Operations for Signature Pointe on the Lake. Previously, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force as a supersonic combat aviator and instructor at the USAF’s Weapons School. David earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University and he also holds a pilot’s license.
David is a native of Dallas, Texas, and has two brothers, a sister, and a daughter. David has also adopted all the fish and marine life in the salt water aquarium at Villages of Lake Highlands as his own. Outside of work, his favorite activities include boating, fishing, and flying. He volunteers at the annual Plano Balloon festival and enjoys conversing with the balloon pilots.
Chelsea Sneed (Clinical )
Chelsea is the architect of Javelin’s exceptional clinical care. She oversees regulatory compliance, establishes healthcare protocols and conducts clinical training in an everchanging environment. Chelsea previously served as the Director of Nursing at Autumn Leaves and the Remington Medical Resort. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington where she is currently pursuing her master’s degree. Chelsea is a member of the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (NADONA) and the American Nurses Association. She also upholds a Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Certification and Antibiotic Stewardship Certification.
Chelsea is from Longview, Texas. She is married to Chris and they have two beautiful daughters, Sidalee and Brynlee. Her family loves spending time outdoors and doing activities together such as riding bikes and swimming. In her free time, Chelsea also enjoys reading crime novels. She is a volunteer for VNA Meals on Wheels, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Good Kids Shredding benefitting Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation.
Emily Naul (Digital Media)
Emily is the company’s content creator for digital media, researching and writing about topic areas such as senior healthcare, affordable housing, and real estate trends. She has designed multimedia and developed content for Javelin projects ranging from an educational app on senior healthcare to web design and copywriting. Prior to coming to Javelin, Emily worked at Six Red Marbles as a Learning Experience Designer. She has a BA in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College, and an MA in Learning Technologies from UT Austin.
Emily has lived in Texas her whole life, apart from attending college in Portland, Oregon. She has volunteered at community organizations Girls Inc., GRACE Grapevine, and Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. Her favorite activities include badminton, watching detective dramas with her parents, and playing video games with her brother.
